Color Story

Brides : What is your color story?

Your color story is your color theme for your wedding. What colors are you choosing?
Colors that are big right now are blush and Tiffany blue. Everyone seems to want a Tiffany wedding! Is this idea a bit overdone? What do you think?

The other color that is SO in is blush. You see it in bridal gowns, as I posted before, but also in flowers and bridesmaids' dresses. There is nothing more gorgeous than blush colored peonies or ranunculus, do you agree?
Here's something to watch out for thought: blush can be a VERY hard color to wear. Keep this in mind if you are putting all of your bridesmaids in blush. If they have light skin and light hair, it may not look so great.
When you are looking at bridesmaids' dresses, bring as many girls as you can. I know it is hard to get everyone together so round up anyone you can so you can see what styles and colors look good on everyone!

Can't agree on a style? Put everyone in the same color, but let them pick the style!

What is your color story?

Brides used to toss a piece of their dress to the unmarried women at the wedding as good luck to the next lucky bride. As dresses became more expensive, brides began to toss their bouquets instead. This tradition has fizzled out for many reasons. At many weddings, the femal

Your Gown-Ready Body

I HATE my __________________. As a bridal consultant, I hear it all. Every girl hates something about her body. Now, you can choose to cover it up, but why let a few flaws dictate what style dress you wear on your big day? Want a strapless dress but hate your arms? Get the arms you want AND the dress you want! Don't settle for sleeves, flaunt your body. Here are the most common areas of the body that brides complain about- and how to tone them! ARMS Best exercises: Push ups, Rows with Dumbells, Lateral Pull Down Work your chest and back to get rid of extra armpit skin! It's not just about your arms, your back and chest need to gain muscle in order to make this unsightly flab go away! BACK You may have never even considered this- but dresses with a low back can show back fat and even pinch your skin making you look like you have rolls. Keep in mind- the problem isn't always YOU, it can be the fit of the dress!! Loosening a dress a tiny bit can get rid o
