Bridesmaid Troubles?

Help! My bridesmaids are all different shapes and sizes! Hey brides! Just wanted to give my advice on an issue that I see all the time: bridesmaids' dresses. Choosing a dress for all of your girls to wear is tough! Your girls are probably all different sizes with different skin tones and hair color. There are a few things you can do to help your girls feel confident in their dresses and feel like they have a bit of a choice! (Even though you are the bride and ultimately, it's your decision). So, things that can be tough: Strapless If you have a larger girl, or perhaps a girl with a large bust, she may not feel comfortable in strapless. Another thing I see is when a bride has a junior bridesmaid who is not quite old enough to show cleavage. So... Add straps! You can add straps to all of the dresses or just for the girls who want them. Your seamstress (or sometimes even the dress company) can easily add straps to any strapless dress. New Trends for Spring and Summer 2013!

Hey brides! A few weeks ago I attended the NYC Bridal Market where I saw some amazing new trends for this year's wedding season. Something that I saw everywhere was back coverage!! This look is so elegant and can be modest but sexy at the same time. Another great idea- have your seamstress make removable straps or a removable piece for your arms. That way, you can be covered and conservative during your ceremony, and change to a more fun look for your reception! I think this trend is going to be huge in the fall and winter too. In the colder months, you need a dress with a bit more coverage, but you still want to be in a gorgeous gown!
